A post graduate in Organic Chemistry with around 41 years of rich experience in the manufacture of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs). He is a technocrat in the Pharmaceutical Industry and started his career in the South India Research Institute (SIRIS), 1972-76. Founded Arvind Chemicals in 1976 for manufacturing of Pharma intermediates and Hyfabs in 1979 for the fabrication of chemical equipment. He was also founder and Managing Director of Hicel Pharma (P) Ltd, manufacturing Analgin from 1984-89. Finally he established Vasudha Pharma Chem Limited (VPCL) in 1994-95 and he has been the Managing Director of the organization since inception. Present stature and reputation of the organization is because of his vision, perseverance, active involvement in production, product development, marketing strategies, capacity expansion and upgradation of facilities to cGMP standards. He is currently the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of the organization.
A graduate in Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from M S Ramayya Institute of Technology, Bangalore (1995) and a post graduate in Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from University of Toledo, Ohio, USA (1997). Worked for a short period as QC Analyst in M/s Neste Resins, Toledo, Ohio, USA during August, 1997-98. He is Whole time Director of Vasudha Pharma Chem Limited since 1998 and presently designated as “Executive Director”. With 21 years of rich experience in the Bulk Drug Manufacturing Industry he looks after manufacturing activities, Human Resources & Industrial Relations (HR&IR), Administration (Hyd.) and Collaboration activities. Also he is actively involved in all major projects implementation across the group.
A post graduate in Business Administration (MBA) in Finance. He is Whole-time Director of Vasudha Pharma Chem Limited since 1998 and presently designated as “Executive Director”. With 21 years of rich experience in the Bulk Drug Manufacturing Industry he is looking after the functions of Raw Material (RM) purchases, Information Technology Services (ITS), Legal, Liaison and Commercial activities. Also he is actively involved in marketing related inputs.
Sri Sreehari Varma K. is a B.E Mechanical Engineering from Bangalore University. He has started his career in 1992 in DCL polyester group in Nagpur under projects and maintenance till 1996. And in 1996 he started his own industry in Hyderabad Electrical Air brake switches and runs up to 2001. In 2002 he joined in Vasudha Group and since then he is looking projects, engineering purchases and maintenance support in all units.
Civil Engineering graduate with over four decades of experience in engineering, project management, consultancy, and administration.
Served as Director at SECON Ltd. for 10 years, followed by 12 years with MPEDA, Govt. of India.

Women Director
Dr. P. V. Appaji, a post-graduate and Doctorate in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Nagpur University, Nagpur. He started his career in 1975 with the Drugs Control Organisation, Government of Andhra Pradesh and he worked in various capacities as Technical Officer, Deputy Director, Deputy Development Commissioner and Director in National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) till June 2003. In July 2004, he was sent on deputation to the newly created organisation, namely, Pharmaceutical Export Promotion Council of India (Pharmexcil) under Ministry of Commerce, Govt of India as Executive Director and retired from Pharmexcil as Director General in December 2016 at the age of 67 years after several extensions.
He was selected as a WHO fellow in 1986 and was trained in USA and Canada. He made a presentation at WHO Geneva in 1997 on Drug price fixation methodology.
During the course of his duties over three decades in State and Central Governments, he handled several subjects relating to pharmaceutical industry.
He is a known figure across the industry as one of the few Government of India officers having thorough experience / knowledge on Indian Pharma and its growth story. He was known as friend of SMEs and made strong efforts for their entry to global export markets. Hundreds of such benefitted SMEs who became successful exporters fondly called him as ‘Bhishma Pita maha‘ of Indian Pharma industry.
To his credit, he has many publications and research articles. He has been honoured with “Eminent Pharmacy Graduate Award” by Indian Pharmacy Graduate Association, Hyderabad and “Lifetime Achievement Award 2012” by Hyderabad Management Association (HMA), Affiliated to AIMA, New Delhi and prestigious Prof. M.L. Khurana Memorial Lecture Award -2013 by Indian Pharmaceutical Association ( IPA) . He is also the life member of several eminent associations like IPA, IPGA etc.
He was member of several key Pharma committees constituted by Govt of India in the past, i.e. Member, Committee of Administration of Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP) Member, CII National Committee on Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Member, Foreign Trade Committee at various institutions like FICCI, FAPCCI, CII, and is playing a vital role in promotion of International trade. Member, Project Approval Committee, Ministry of AYUSH, are few of them At present he is member of state and central pharmacy councils, independent board member of a pharma company and actively guiding some pharma companies on related matters.
